Can you mine eBay or Etsy for seller leads? Get them to cross list on boutique it?
Time to whip out beautiful soup (also heard good things about scrapy but never tried it). At the very least, could build up list of people to then send emails out to.

Cool, I really think the marketing and BD side of things is absolutely critical. High quality tech execution falls under “necessary but not sufficient”. I’d find a really specific niche (Russian nesting dolls) and go really hard on that
