I dont save the entire state tree to the phone when someone closes the app. I’ve done it a lot on web but not on mobile. So my guess is its the same address state problem from before. There are deep object reconciliation libs out there, way better experience to not have to wait for addresses to populate again when you’ve already retrieved them once. keep the old state and update rather than just request a new copy all the time.
Shipping is a huge pain, the other two packages ive shipped were a laptop to california for like $28 bucks and a 30" painting to NYC for $35! Those were consumer rates i got at the binghamton post office, the shipping api rates are a bit better but its still shocking. Lessening that sticker shock will for sure make for a better experience, obviously.
